Line-up

Halima Ikane

Halima (19) is a liberated young woman and spoken word artist. She quit her medical studies at the
beginning of 2024 and stood on stage for the first time. Since then, she's performed at the
Vrijheidsmaaltijden, Tell 'Em Festival and Poetry International. And she's in the Spoken Awards finals
this September. Halima writes fragile poems with a great urgency. With a translation to the audience, she hopes to maneuver people through her somewhat muddled thoughts. She's on a search of identity and
purpose, also find her way to her inner child.

Ivan Words

Ivan Words is a free, unbound, creative spirit. His words originate from a place where autonomy is
central, where borders are designed by his own judgment, and creation has a will of its own.
Multifaceted, creative and autonomous as he is, Ivan works in theater, does commissioned writing,
does voice acting, and gives workshops. Ivan played in the theater show Tori (a translation of Brian
Elstaks children's book), spoke at TEDx, and wrote for the series Sprekend by Samsung and RedBull.
Ivan is also part of the spoken word collective Barguijs.

His pieces peak your curiosity, at times confronting, and always authentic. Ivan writes from a place of
necessity, a way to express himself and to find his inner calm. By putting his or others’ feelings into
words, a language that's listened to, he finds power in his vulnerability and discovers what is truly
important word for word.

Keanu Neral

What does one become when raised on cliche 90's rom coms & angry button poetry slam footage? A
furious love poet with an identity crisis. Keanu creates poems based on rosy glasses, pink clouds, and the fact that the world is consistently falling apart on a social, political, economical, climate and usually personal level.

Mushroom Mosis

Six years after the release of the debut-EP vocalist/songwriter Damani transformed his inspiration into
a brand new record released under his stage name Mushroom Mosis.

The latest EP titled "The Wellspring" was recorded in 2021 and was inspired by the ways in which life
changed the past two years. For Damani, this EP is a reminder that things grow when you water them
and that it's important that he also pours energy into himself, regardless of the circumstances around
him.

Mushroom Mosis is known for immaculate soulful vibes that blossom during live performances where Damani will often improvise and pull inspiration from the crowd and the environment, making every performance a unique experience for the audience.

DJ set by YŮSU

In the world of rhythm and beats, YŮSU is ½ of the dynamic duo Chocolate Swirl. Hailing from the streets of Amsterdam while proudly carrying her Ghanaian heritage, YŮSU’s musical journey is like a modern-day Dora the Explorer within music. She goes through diverse sonic landscapes. Weaving together stories, rhythms and hypnotic melodies. With a presence both on and off the stage, she has been gracing the decks at events like Lowlands, Down the Rabbit Hole and Amsterdam Open Air Festival or through the airwaves as a resident of Oroko radio.

However, beyond the achievements lies a deeper purpose. YŮSU sees music not just as a form of
expression but as a means of connection—a universal language that transcends borders and
boundaries. As a Music Evangelist, YŮSU spreads love through every beat, inviting listeners to join
her on a journey of exploration.
