Every Friday, Parallel opens the doors to Terra: a fresh weekly club concept showcasing sounds from the global electronic underground. The final installation of Terra in June is Latin-infused! DJ Fucci is a producer from Mexico City and the co-founder of the label WAVA WAVA. He is a versatile artists who stays ahead of the curve with novel sounds and frequencies and unexpected rhythms. Added to the bill is Sukubratz: swaying Latin-infused rhythms and rugged club beats, Sukubratz effortlessly oscillates between dark and playful with a substantial amount of slay in the mix. Joined by Terra resident CHALÉ.

Together with a team of residents and weekly guests, Terra showcases a weekly constellation of Afro house, Amapiano, baile funk, batida, gqom, futuristic mutations of dancehall, reggaeton and many more under one roof. CHALÉ

CHALÉ is an Amsterdam-based DJ. As a child of Ghanaian parents, he was introduced to different types of African music at an early age. As he grew older he developed his passion for music which eventually led him to master the decks. He is known for his energetic, eclectic music selection varying from UK Bass, club music from the diaspora and hip hop, which he also showcases during his monthly radio show, on Operator Radio. CHALÉ has established himself as a household name in the Amsterdam nightlife scene, but he has also extended his resume with performances abroad in Paris, Berlin, Milan, London, Copenhagen just to name a few.

In collaboration with friendly fire, Paradiso and various local communities and sound systems we are launching a new festival promising a fusion of global sounds to ignite your soul. On Sunday, June 30th, 2024 ginger festival will take over the garden of Parallel from 7p.m-7a.m. A celebration of African culture with performances, club nights, workshops, film and food in the garden.
