Every Friday, Parallel opens the doors to Terra: a fresh weekly club concept showcasing sounds from the global electronic underground.
Terra welcomes Afrokillerz, DJ Nigga Fox and NIVEK for this weeks Terra. Afrokillerz is an electronic music project, powered by different sounds and cultures, coming from Portugal. They are a duo that seeks a way out of the obvious. Joining percussion instruments (Safari) and Djing (Landz).They show all their past in a symbiosis where the rhythms of their ancestors, Cape Verde and Angola, combine with all their influences and everyday atmosphere. Riding off the wave of the album dubbed “one of the year’s most staggering weirdo club records” Chá Preto, DJ Nigga Fox is certainly one of electronic music’s more enigmatic artists and an MVP of a thriving Afro-Portuguese music scene with his home in Lisbon, Portugal. Expect liquified syncopations, batida, kuduro and progressive African dance music. Joined by Rotterdam’s hero NIVEK.
