Every Friday, Parallel opens the doors to Terra: a fresh weekly club concept showcasing sounds from the global electronic underground. For the first Terra of the month we invited none other than Rosey Gold; a South African DJ and producer based in Europe, has rapidly gained international acclaim by captivating audiences worldwide with her vibrant Amapiano, Gqom, and House selection. Born amidst the final throes of Apartheid, Rosey Gold’s upbringing during a pivotal period in South Africa’s history ignited her passion to amplify the sounds of her homeland on a global scale, infusing her craft with a sense of positivity and enlightenment. Behind the scenes, he is an active driving force behind 2 of Holland’s most respected platforms: Jamrock and Encore, alongside programming shows and nightlife events at Paradiso since 2020. Attuned to what’s next, he is currently curating a larger platform for South African electronic music in Amsterdam, with his Tribes and Ziongate events bringing some of SA’s most prolific artist’s to Amsterdam already.
