Every Friday, Parallel opens the doors to Terra: a fresh weekly club concept showcasing sounds from the global electronic underground. For the final edition of Terra in April we invited Soulroots, founder of Liberation, knows how to play the crowds and bring worlds together. He combines the uplifting and melodic elements of deep & soul with the raw intensity of afro and the progressiveness of house to create a sound that’s unique to his own. Joined by Amsterdam-based producer Ginton, resident Unruly Phoenix and local hero Inkedrebelle. expect sounds that explore the fusion of South African amapiano sounds and spellbinding sets spanning the bass heavy spectrum of afro and gqom.

Together with a team of residents and weekly guests, Terra showcases a weekly constellation of Afro house, Amapiano, baile funk, batida, gqom, futuristic mutations of dancehall, reggaeton and many more under one roof. While not on stage, Unruly Phoenix is dedicated to her studio time both independently and collaboratively with other artists. Her main focus is to push boundaries, propagating these sounds around the world.
