Terra
Friday 26th January at Parallel
Doors open: 23:59
Every Friday, Parallel opens the doors to Terra: a fresh weekly club concept showcasing sounds from the global electronic underground. For this week's edition of Terra, London-based DJ, producer, and artist Shannen SP brings her sonic palette of Afrodiasporic rhythms, including amapiano, kuduro, Afrobeats, and rap. Terra resident Wes Lee opens the night and Nivek closes the night with his sound developed by combining an eclectic diverse selection of music of both African diaspora and contemporary club/electronic music, such as kuduro, batida, bubbling and kawina with influences from R&B/hiphop and UK sounds.

Line-up
Shannen SP
Her musical focus lies in the experimental sounds coming out of global diasporas and the African continent, reflected in her recent collaboration with NTS Records on Amapiano Now.
Wes Lee
Behind the scenes, he is an active driving force behind 2 of Holland’s most respected platforms: Jamrock and Encore, alongside programming shows and nightlife events at Paradiso since 2020. Attuned to what’s next, he is currently curating a larger platform for South African electronic music in Amsterdam, with his Tribes and Ziongate events bringing some of SA’s most prolific artist’s to Amsterdam already.
