It’s always better when great minds don’t think alike. For the first time Ignite and Synesthesia team up to present Symbiosis, Vol. I.

This is not your typical night out, after all, who would make a museum out of a club? Together, these Amsterdam-based collectives bring artistic expression to the heart of the techno scene. Our main drive is to blend all the senses into a holistic experience, where clubbing transcends its regular form. Expect art performances and installations where the body takes the forefront through an exploration of different mediums.

The musical journey that you can expect in Symbiosis will stretch the melodic techno horizon and blur its lines and boundaries with headliner Hollt (live), aided by Synesthesia resident duo, Ides of March, and Ignite resident, Main Identity - pacing from progressive to electro.

HOLLT (live)

In recent years, Hollt, a.k.a. Jeffrey Frugte, has been steadily solidifying his name; merging melodic elements with a defiling energy, creating stories and blending genres. Hailing from the Netherlands, Hollt released the underground hit ‘Halos’ on Jonas Saalbach & David Guzy’s Radikon, which affirmed him as one of the fastest rising talents in the melodic techno scene, being heavily supported by the likes of ARTBAT, Mathame, Adriatique, Innellea, Kevin de Vries, Fideles, Joris Voorn, Coeus, Eelke Kleijn, Jonas Saalbach & more. On stage, Hollt creates a world consisting of melodies and techno, either DJ’ing or playing live with the Holltesizer.

Ides of March

The concept of Ides of March sees the light for the first time in 2018 in Amsterdam, where this Spanish-Italian duo is based. Having set their international debut with their first EP "XV-III" for UK's label Sequence music in 2020, followed by the single "Corpus" on German imprint Club Mood Vibes, they released the track Dreamwalking for Mexico City's label ARKHAMRA in 2022, getting support from international acts such as Wurtz, The Element and Justrice, among others. They are also founders and resident DJs for their own event series, Synesthesia.

Main Identity

Main Identity, is a Brazilian born and Amsterdam based DJ and producer who, by his own words, has the “purpose in life of telling stories through music”.For the past couple of years, Main Identity has been diving into the techno world, having the opportunities to showcase his love for music not only through his long melodic sets, but also by externalising his feelings and thoughts onto his productions with a release on Brazilian’s Prototype Music. He is also resident DJ of Ignite, curating the sound imprint of the organization with his signature high energy and hypnotic waves of melodic techno"
