Psychedelic Romance returns to Parallel after their dazzling debut edition to present "Bio/Rythm". For this second edition, undisputed legends of the Dutch techno scene Speedy J and Steve Rachmad will embark on their four-hour-long live Amsterdam debut alongside Psychedelic Romance head honcho and DJ/producer JP Enfant.
Alongside the main club space, this edition features an ambient floor expansion with Bas Dobbelaer and The Palmer Initiative.
Bio/Rythm’s first moment is Rebirth: an attempt to come back to where we started. JP Enfant, Speedy J and Steve Rachmad will deal with the hardest and easiest thing to do - going forward, in the past. Because never leaving will never be the same as coming back.
About Psychedelic Romance
Psychedelic Romance is a multi-faceted concept encompassing art, mindfulness and immersive experiences on and off the dancefloor. Launching their event series in Amsterdam, they seek to harness frequency and sound to generate altered states of consciousness, both on the material and spiritual planes. As a platform to promote emerging talent, their digital-only releases go in tandem with the imprint’s life-cycle themed vinyl productions.

Speedy & Steve (live)
There are no set rules or roles when Paap and Rachmad fire up their machines – they’re drawing on their decades of experience making and playing this music, and most importantly having fun with the process. Rachmad often brings his signature chords, pads and melodic arps into the mix, while Paap is more than comfortable tweaking rhythms and textures, but their sonic duties are fluid. There’s a certain intimacy around their performances, stemming from the relaxed, intuitive air of two seasoned pros discovering their common ground and having fun stretching their skills for an audience.
JP Enfant
Over the years, JP Enfant has expanded his musical scope to genres like ambient and electronica, most notably featured on his brand-new label Psychedelic Romance. This multi-faceted concept encompasses art and immersive experiences on and off the dance floor to reflect JP’s vision of dance music as a ritual for healing and elevation of the spirits of many.
