Line-up

Comtron (Live)

Comtron is an electronic music duo consisting of Dutch musicians Rimer Veeman and Bas Bron.

They’ve been releasing records for almost a decade now, gaining an international following with their unique strain of avant-garde electric funk.

While Rimer (with Le Le and as Rimer London) and Bas (with De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig and as Seymour Bits, among others) made quite a name for themselves outside of Comtron, the fieldwork they did together echoes through all their subsequent outings to this date.

The sparse lyrics and song titles often take inspiration from the world of finance and big business, glorifying and romanticising it to the point of ridiculing and condemning it.

Known for stellar live performances Comtron played all across Europe. They where asked to open for Kraftwerk in Dublin in 2008.

Housepainters (Live)

Housepainters started as a home-recording project, the three piece finds itself on a middle ground between wave-punk and dub merging into gloomy yet upbeat tunes.

Figi (Live)

Stimulated by his father’s drum career, Vijay always had musical ideas. One day, his dad showed him his Roland SP-808EX floppy disc sampler, which fascinated him and inspired him to learn electronic music production.

As Figi, he is now on a mission to bring Boogie back to the 21st century. By recording great musicians to perform the parts he composes & playing classic analog synths himself he creates tracks full of life, grit and groove. Getting the ideas he hears in his head out there for you to dance to.

In Figi’s dj and live sets you can hear his journey digging through decades of dance music: classics and overlooked bangers in Proto-House, Boogie, Disco, Funk as well as his own new demo’s, exclusive edits and releases.

Karel (Live)

Karel is an Amsterdam sensation. With his first EP “Life” (on Job Jobse’s label) sold out, his second, “The Work” released on Magnetron, won’t disappoint. He has a unique John Maus-like sound, moulding 80s synth-pop and wave into one delicious delivery. Last year he played at the Dutch festival, Down the Rabbit Hole, where he was reviewed in the top 3 after Nick Cave & David Byrne. He has a quirky, fun and eccentric way of performing and has become well known locally for it. Expect him to jump and swing from any surrounding furniture.

Eryyy - (JP) (live)

Eryyy is the electronic music artist from Tokyo,Japan. The sound is described as experimental, kaleidoscopic, cosmic, languorous, psychedelic by many of her fans.
