GIRLAXY // A collective of stars and talents that are held together by the power of music.

GIRLAXY is an event concept for women+ that is focused on creating a supportive space and empowering community by providing a stage for femme+ artists and coming together in a team of hardworking women behind the scenes, as well as stimulating a safe(r) dancefloor for womxn*.

*We understand that gender identity and gender expression are complex. By women+ we mean cisgender women, transgender women, non-binary, gender-fluid and other individuals that feel related. 

Please note that having a ticket does not guarantee entrance. There is a strict door policy in place to reinforce Girlaxy's overall atmosphere they aim to create. Their door personnel are trained to maintain this balance throughout the night. Additional and specific door policies, can overrule Parallel's house rules
 

GIRLAXY is an event that focuses on empowering and supporting underrepresented groups in the music industry, as well as providing a safe(r) dancefloor exclusively for femme+ visitors.

By this, we want to emphazise the importance of allowing the space to be for those who need it, focusing on cisgender women, transgender women, non-binary, gender fluid, agender and genderqueer individuals, as well as welcoming all forms and pathways of womanhood. We do not distinguish between different paths to womanhood, such as trans women. The 'plus' entails different gender identities, for instance including non-binary, intersex, agender, genderfluid, and genderqueer individuals.
