Fervo Fluxo invites São Paulo rappers Tasha & Tracie, along with special guests Kyan, Gregory, and DJs Esteves, Ray, and Anthony, for a Funk & Trap BR showcase at Parallel in Amsterdam. Tasha and Tracie, twin sisters and rappers from São Paulo, blend the vibrant influences of São Paulo funk and Brazilian music into their compositions and productions. They began their careers in fashion with the Expensive Shit blog in 2014, targeting young, Black, working-class audiences — a demographic that now forms the core of their fanbase. As independent MCs, they seamlessly integrate their work as art directors and stylists into their music projects.
In this performance, Tasha & Tracie will showcase tracks from their two EPs, Rouff and Diretoria, as well as their latest album, Yin-Yang, along with recent singles. Highlights include “Sou Má,” featuring singer Ludmilla, “Pisando Fofo,” featuring Gloria Groove, and other hits.
