WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 16TH AT PARALLEL
23:45-05:00

Throughout the day, you might experience moments that feel good. Still, people often dwell on moments that don't feel right and take good things for granted. At 'Feels Right,' we focus on the fact that many things do feel right: the people, the DJs, the venue, and especially the music.

Feels Right is a club night that isn't tied to one genre but is a gathering of multiple sounds: moving from Baile Funk to Middle Eastern club edits, and from UK Garage to African electronic rhythms, as long as it feels right. The Dutch club scene has many talents who can effortlessly deliver this combination of sounds. Feels Right is happy to put these artists in the spotlight along with exciting acts from abroad.

BIJI

From the heart of the diaspora, the duo BIJI makes music that fearlessly blends Kurdish and Western Asian traditions with contemporary influences like Hip-Hop, Afrobeat, Latin, and Dance into a sonic and visual experience that captivates audiences of all backgrounds and transcends borders.

BIJI is the atomic fusion between the minds of Robin Nazari (artist and actor) and Maceo Frost (director and producer) fueled by the Kurdish culture that has long yearned for recognition and the freedom of self-expression. Born into a Kurdish family of musicians and poets, Nazari made his acting debut in the hit Netflix crime series “Snabba Cash”, was recently featured in their 2023 drama “Clark,” and will be starring in the upcoming Netflix movie “The Beautiful Game” (also starring British legend Bill Nighy and Michael Ward of Top Boy). Frost is an award-winning film director and music producer born into a family of mavericks – hip hop, skateboard and street dance pioneers which is embedded into DNA. In 2018, he received a Gold Clio Award for a documentary about Burna Boy and his feature film collaboration with Adidas and HBO for the cuban boxing documentary “TOO BEAUTIFUL”.

CHAMOS

Known for their genre-spanning DJ sets that seamlessly blend Southwest Asian influences, bass, and percussion, CHAMOS truly embody their name—meaning "friends"—as they bring together diverse sounds and audiences. With members from Kurdish and Dutch backgrounds, their music effortlessly fuses traditional and electronic elements. Building on the success of their club edits series, which has garnered attention from DJs and artists alike, they have cultivated an organic and ever-growing fanbase.
