Sarz

Sarz, a Nigerian producer, didn't foresee his musical career but found inspiration in US hip hop and R&B legends like Timbaland and Dr. Dre. Introduced to music software as a teen by a friend, he delved into production and never looked back. His journey includes selling beats, collaborating with stars like Wizkid and Burna Boy, and contributing to Grammy-nominated projects. Beyond his own success, he established The Sarz Academy to support budding talents in the industry.
His forthcoming project, 'Protect Sarz At All Costs', signifies a significant shift for the internationally acclaimed producer. Featuring a star-studded lineup including Rema, Skrillex, Ayra Starr, Skepta, and Asake, the album represents a diverse tapestry of sounds, drawing from both African influences and global musical landscapes. Sarz's creative freedom is palpable throughout the album, as he fearlessly blends genres, seamlessly merging afrobeat rhythms with elements of EDM, R&B, and more.

Each track in the album is a testament to Sarz's boundary-pushing approach, with diverse collaborations creating a richly textured musical experience. The project is not just a personal milestone but a statement about the future of African music—one that is bold, innovative, and poised for global recognition.

Moreover, 'Protect Sarz At All Costs' holds deeper significance for Sarz beyond its musical value. It stands as a beacon for music producers, highlighting their pivotal role in shaping the afrobeats genre. Sarz hopes the album encourages fellow producers and DJs to step out of the background and assert their creative visions. It's a call to protect and honour the contributions of producers, amplifying their importance within the music industry. Sarz envisions a future where more producers and DJs confidently carve their paths and drive their own creative movements.
