Boddhi Satva

Boddhi Satva's musical roots run deep as a producer, DJ, label owner, entrepreneur and teacher, reaching out across the globe from his native Africa. Since his debut release in 2005, his musical output has spearheaded the spread of African sounds into the wider global electronic music scene, effortlessly skating across borders and genres. Whether an imagined utopian Wakanda, or the very solid ground of his native Central African Republic, Boddhi’s music transports the listener to a place that feels like home.

As a DJ, Satva has performed in stadiums and iconic clubs including Ministry of Sound and Cielo New York, as well as holding a residency at the W Hotel in Doha, Qatar. Later, Meedy connected deeply with the rhythmic presence in Afro house, resonating with his roots and childhood. He founded DESCENDANTS with the vision that those who are 'Descendants' of the rhythms and elements within Afro house should have a platform and safe space to experience healing and joy through this profound music.
