Tida Kamara

Tida Kamara is a rising star in Dutch nightlife, bringing her unique blend of genres and cultural influences to dance floors across the country. With roots in Sierra Leone, Tida draws on her heritage to create an eclectic sound; showcasing artists from across the world. From a relatively young age, she found herself across clubs and festivals in the Netherlands and in Europe. Tida showed off her range with her own radio show on Operator, called 'Tebete', which is a celebration of her roots and pays homage to her family.

WaxFiend has became one of Europe’s most sought after and respected DJ’s in the last decade, combining music from genres like HipHop, Dancehall, Afrobeat, House, Soul, R&B and more to curate his unique sound. Currently holding a residency at Encore, Holland's biggest weekly club night, his career impressively spans opening arena shows for artists like Rihanna, Young Thug, Kaytranada, SBTRKT, Kehlani & Sean Paul, alongside being nominated for several awards including ‘Best DJ’ at the Dutch MOBO Awards and winning ‘Best Mixtape’ & ‘Best Party’.

Behind the scenes, WaxFiend is an active driving force behind 2 of Holland’s most respected platforms: Jamrock and Encore and programming shows and nightlife events at Paradiso since 2020. Attuned to what’s next, WaxFiend is currently curating a larger platform for South African electronic music in Amsterdam, with his Tribes and Ziongate events bringing some of SA’s most prolific artist’s to Amsterdam already. Focused and dedicated to his job as a DJ, event producer and music ambassador, WaxFiend's future is one to watch.
