Agartha is a mystical place for pure souls to enter and experience the deepest electronic soundscapes. Transcending borders and divisions, their club nights connect a constellation of artists from the Western electronic sphere and the African diaspora, with Agartha founder and resident Cincity as the musical glue uniting us through the common drumbeat that drives us all.

On the bill for this edition: Desiree, the infallible African-inspired house championer hailing from South Africa, whose sets are eclectic rides across deep house and techno to soulful cuts. Rounding up the bill is local talent Ranie Ribeiro (formerly known as D-Ribeiro), the Rotterdam-based artist and producer who effortlessly flows through genres varying from soulful techno to jazz, with the addition of his harp-playing and distinct percussion elements.

Cincity

Press Picture 1
Rotterdam resident Cincity has an insatiable thirst for artistic expression, exploring all continents discovering her own musical sound over the years, inspired by a city that feels more like a cultural melting pot than any other she has lived in over the years. Experimenting with an ever-evolving blend of sounds and cultures, her strong love for house music has merged with her African roots providing her with an eclectic sound, taking dancers on a journey to show them what house music is, and can be, in her eyes. Playing and making music globally, she focuses on expressing all this inspiration into her new-found deep and worldly sound, both in the studio and on the dance floor.

Desiree

Hailing from South Africa and raised on a diet of electronic music, Desiree delivers eclectic yet accessible sets that are impossible not to dance to. Her DJ style evokes an Afrocentric mood whilst maintaining unshakeable loyalty to techno basics.

From a prestigious Rackless Kazi DJ residency in Zambia, she has been steadily rising ever since. In 2021, she had her first European tour alongside Black Coffee at Ushuaia in Ibiza, Watergate Open Air Festival in Berlin, Lost Village in the UK and La Clairere in Paris, emerging from a rising star to an international talent.

Having unveiled her debut EP, Femme Tech, on Jackie Queens’ Bae Electronica in 2022 with tours of India and USA on the horizon, Desiree is ready to be a household name.
